Yay!  so I find out today that i got off the waitlist for Oxford in the fall.  now i wish i had gone to the orientation sessions and all that stuff, since i didnt because i thought there was no chance i'd get off the waitlist.  so PLEASE, if you know anything about stanford in oxford let me know, i have to make up my mind soon.

i was looking at other people's sites, and i realized that to make mine better there must be the inclusion of scandalous, party-on-the-weekend-too-drunk-to-remember-i-took-those-pictures pictures.  but see, i dont really own a camera and i don't like to take pictures that often.  that leaves the chance of my xanga page boring and uninteresting, not that i can do anything to help ameliorate the situation.  YOU, however, can help!  Donate a digital camera to me, and i'll make sure this page lights up like a 50-page playboy fold-out centerfold annual pictorial.

i woke up today to play the stockmarket for the SSE challenge.  Over the last two days, I had somehow managed to turn around a 1% gain during a bearish market, however today the market rallied UP 1% but I lost 1%.  I woke up at 6:30AM to catch the market open, fell asleep and woke up at 8AM again apparently having forgotten that I had placed short-sell orders on cisco that turned out to be a $3000 bomb of a loss.  I have a one-week return of ~2.5%, but i am getting whooped by these other hardcore muthafuckas that turn 40% return.  They hold on to 1 stock, buy 20,000 shares of it and then watch it go up a quarter of a point while I sit here doing countless transactions as a day trader....i feel suckered.
